Share the load! If the box you need to carry is very heavy, ask someone else to help you lift it. Although this may take longer, and some employers may grumble and complain that you can do it on your own, you need to affirm that your health comes first.

For example, yoga is a very effective method of strengthening the back. Going for massages and exercising regularly will help too.
