Massage Envy is the leader in providing quality therapeutic massage at an affordable rate. We have immediate openings for talented therapists at our La Jolla (Girard Avenue) location. In San Diego alone, Massage Envy provides jobs to over 600 massage therapists who are performing over 50,000 massages per month. We are seeking qualified experienced Massage Therapists who wish to “jump start” their career without the worry and expense of running a business. We are open 7 days a week and have many shifts available. Our therapists must be capable of performing customized massage therapy sessions in which the quality of touch, flow, pressure and draping is safe, professional and therapeutic.

Job duties and requirements include but are not limited to the following:

Greet Guests Members in a professional, friendly manner and evaluate clients’ needs based on intake notes and private consultation.

Complete accurate and legible client intake notes.

Promote health and wellness benefits of massage specific to each client, recommend frequency, and sell product and other services available at Massage Envy Spa.

Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations

Must carry personal liability insurance with Massage Envy as additional insured.

Must successfully pass background check

Able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers

Able to work flexible days and hours which includes weekends and evenings and some holidays

Able to perform 50 and 80 (or up to 110) minute quality massage session within the scope of your training.

Knowledge of Various Modalities is a must.

Must be physically fit to meet and exceed the physical demands of the job and practice self-care and proper body mechanics while performing the job.

Maintain a professional clean appearance of self by wearing Massage Envy uniform, following the table dressing draping protocols and keeping the therapy room and clinic clean.

A “do-what-it-takes” attitude towards maintaining an excellent work environment.

Our compensation program includes medical, dental, vision, and employee massages at a reduced rate.
